Please stop trying to contact our authors. They are dead.
We would absolutely love to hear from you. While our authors are completely unreachable (due to being deceased for a century or more), our entirely living, breathing, and heavily caffeinated team is here to answer your questions.
We kindly ask that you do not send carrier pigeons, telegrams, or seance transcripts. We finally got the internet working, so let’s stick to that.
General Inquiries
Got a question about one of our books? Have a hot tip about an obscure 1890s Hungarian thriller we should translate next? Just want to tell us how much you love our cover art?
Drop us a line using the form bellow.
We try to respond within 24 to 48 hours. This timeline heavily depends on how deep down a European archival rabbit hole our editors are currently stuck. If we take a bit longer, please assume we are wrestling with a particularly stubborn 19th-century idiom.
Author Submissions
Are you a brilliant, aspiring writer looking for a publisher? That is wonderful! However, unless you wrote your manuscript in 1894 and have been legally deceased for at least seventy years, we are not the right fit for you.
We exclusively publish dead authors. Please do not take it personally. It is just our business model.
